There have been several ongoing avian influenza outbreaks in the U.S. since December 2014, and a canine influenza strain previously not seen here arrived from Asia in 2015. We have information to help veterinarians – and clients – understand both canine influenza and avian influenza, neither of which is a human health concern at this time.
