Dog North Park
GSVH is available to anyone for an emergency during business hours. This came in handy when Jane called us from North Park one day. She was out at North Park lake with her dog Buddy when Buddy got a fish hook embedded in his skin. Jane’s usual vet — whom she had been seeing since she was a little girl — couldn’t take her immediately, so GSVH fit her in even though she wasn’t an existing client.
Fish hooks are tricky to remove because they cut in a certain way. We removed the hook, provided pain medication and antibiotics. Jane was very happy with our service, and Buddy sure was happy to have that hook out!
